Executive Assistant to the CEO
CHO Airport seeks an experienced, well-organized, and results-oriented professional to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport Authority. This position will manage the CEO’s appointment and meeting calendar, develop memos, correspondence, and other various administrative functions. The Executive Assistant will prepare and distribute meeting materials and attend meetings to record minutes. Working with the CEO and other members of the management team, the Executive Assistant will organize, track, monitor, and follow the progress of projects and action items of the leadership group. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Three to five years of executive administrative assistance experience. Advanced computer skills and comprehensive knowledge of software applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, and database development and management. Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects, and plan work activities using time efficiently. Expert organizational skills and attention to detail. Looking for a job as a facilities custodian? We have an opening on our terminal team! This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Airport Terminal. Duties include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, trash removal, and other housekeeping duties as assigned. Physical demands include standing and walking for long periods of time, bending, stooping, Lifting up to 20 pounds, and climbing up and downstairs.
This full-time position. Shifts are 10 hours – 40 hours per week. Shift is 3:00 PM — 1:00 AM, including some holidays and a weekend shift. Shift days are to be determined.
Applicant must successfully complete all required fingerprint-based criminal history records checks, pre-employment drug screening, and employment background check.
Pay: $15.00 per hour based on experience.
Benefits for full-time employees include health care coverage with 100% of employee’s coverage currently paid by the Authority, retirement and life insurance coverage in the Virginia Retirement System, two weeks paid leave, and twelve paid holidays.
The applicant must successfully complete the required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and employment background check, pass a pre-employment drug screening and possess a valid Virginia driver’s license with a driving record insurable by Authority’s automobile liability carrier.
