Accessibility
For our travelers with special needs, elevators are available. One is located in our long-term parking lot providing easy access to the terminal and a second is located beyond the checkpoint for the upper level. Wheelchairs are available upon request. Contact your airline representative in advance for additional assistance.
ATMs
ATM service is located in the ticketing area as well as the lower level concourse after passing through security.
Baggage Claim
The baggage claim area includes the rental car counters (Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National), the baggage claim device, and the Hotel Courtesy Shuttle telephone board. 30 minutes free parking in the Short-Term Parking Lot for meeting, greeting and pick-up.
Food & Beverages
The Turbo Grill is located on the ground floor next to gate 1 and features made to order food, a bar, and much more.
Free High Speed Wireless Internet
Free wireless internet (WiFi) is available for our patrons throughout the terminal building.
Gift Shop
A gift shop offering local souvenirs, UVA gear and travel necessities is located on the second floor next to gate 5.
Ground Transportation
Taxis are located on the departures curb near ticketing. TNCs such a Uber and Lyft are available at CHO through their app.
Lounge
“The Lounge” is located adjacent to gate 5. This pay-per-use lounge is generally available from 7am until 5pm seven days a week and features a quite spot for business travelers to get some work done or rest ahead of a long flight.
Nursing Mother’s Room & Family Restrooms
A nursing mother’s room is located past the security checkpoint on the upper level. Family restrooms and gender neutral restrooms are also available before and after the security checkpoint.
Parking Shuttle
The airport offers a parking shuttle during most flight departures and arrivals. The shuttle is located on the terminal curbside.

Most major rental car companies are represented at CHO and their counters can be found in Baggage Claim.
Ticket Counter
Airlines serving the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport offer the latest in electronic ticketing, check-in and boarding passes in the ticketing area, and PreCheck is available at the checkpoint.
