This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Airport Terminal.  Duties include cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and other housekeeping duties as assigned. Physical demands include standing and walking for long periods of time, bending, stooping, lifting up to 20 pounds weight, climbing up and downstairs. This full-time position has a starting pay rate of $14.00 per hour. The available shift is an evening shift Sunday – Wednesday 3:00 PM — 1:00 AM to include some holidays.

Benefits for full-time employees include health care coverage with 100% of employee’s coverage currently paid by the Authority, retirement, and life insurance coverage in the Virginia Retirement System, two weeks paid leave, and twelve paid holidays.

Must successfully complete all required fingerprint-based criminal history records checks, pre-employment drug screening and employment background check.

CHO has an opening for a Public Safety Officer. This position is a law enforcement officer and a member of the aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) team. If the successful candidate is not a certified sworn officer, he/she must be certified within 1 year of hire by Airport sponsored training.

The final candidate will be required to undergo a polygraph, health/drug screening, and comprehensive background investigation. Starting salary is $42,000. Higher salary based on experience. Schedules may include weekdays, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Benefits include health care coverage, retirement, and life insurance coverage in Virginia Retirement System and two weeks paid leave.
