We are searching for the right person to join our Airfield Maintenance team. Responsibilities to include assisting with all aspects of the airfield maintenance, performing general building maintenance functions such as repairs in the terminal, painting, routine carpentry, repair and maintenance of parking lot lighting, mowing on the airfield, weeding, and mulching. On-call snow/ice removal is required of this position. This position is a member of the Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting team and will be required to successfully pass certification within 1 year of hire date and maintain the certification. Experience in fire/rescue is a plus but not required.

Applicant must successfully complete required fingerprint-based criminal history records check, employment background check, pass a pre-employment drug screening and possess valid Virginia driver’s license with driving record insurable by Authority’s automobile liability carrier.

Benefits for full-time employees include health care coverage with 100% of employee’s coverage currently paid by the Authority, retirement and life insurance coverage in the Virginia Retirement System, two weeks paid leave and twelve paid holidays.

Available shift Sunday – Wednesday 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Pay range $15.00 – $17.00 per hour based on experience.
