RFP# 2022-03 Banking and ATM Services

The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport Authority (“Authority”) invites qualified and interested financial institutions to submit proposals for the selection of a financial institution to provide banking and ATM services to the Authority.  For a complete description of the Services being procured, interested offerors should review the Request for Proposals dated November 10, 2021 (“RFP”). The RFP is posted below or can be obtained by emailing a request to Penny Shifflett at pshifflett@gocho.com. Any banking and ATM services contract awarded as a result of this competitive negotiation process will be non-exclusive, and the Authority may initiate any procurement process for additional or alternative financial or banking services at any time it so desires.

Proposals will be accepted by mail or delivery until 2:00 p.m., local prevailing time, Friday, December 10, 2021, by Penny Shifflett, Director of Finance & Administration, Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport Authority, 100 Bowen Loop, Suite 200, Charlottesville, Virginia, 22911.  Proposals received after 2:00 p.m. on December 10, 2021 will be returned unopened.  Instructions for preparation and submission of proposals are found within the RFP.  A non-mandatory pre-proposal informational meeting will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Authority’s conference room at the address above.  For those that would like to attend virtually email Penny Shifflett at pshifflett@gocho.com  Interested offerors should check the Authority’s website prior to submission of any proposal–in the event that addenda are issued to the RFP during the procurement process, notice of each addendum will be posted on the Authority’s website, in the same location as the RFP.

Project Description. Sealed bids are invited by the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport Authority for a 22’ Flared Snow Plow Vehicle at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Project is described within an Invitation to Bids (ITB) dated May 17, 2021.

Bid Documents. A paper copy of this Notice, the ITB and related documents are available for inspection at the Airport Administrative Offices referenced in this solicitation. The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport Authority (“Authority”) hereby announces its intent to award a contract to Gen Hub, dba/The Power Connection to assess the Airport’s existing commercial power, to provide a plan that achieves the survivability of the passenger terminal during commercial power outages and to purchase and install any necessary upgrades and equipment to achieve the plan and sustain the terminal.

This award is made pursuant to the Request for Proposals for the above-described services issued on November 30, 2020.  After conducting the RFP process in accordance with the guidelines, the selection committee made their recommendations.  The Authority’s Executive Director has concluded that the proposal of the above-named offeror has been deemed most qualified to meet the needs of the Authority.

The Authority reserves the right to cancel this Notice of Intent to Award at any time.

This Notice of Intent to Award initiates the 10-day period during which an offeror may submit a bid protest in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act.
